This is our friendly old milk cow, Tippy, captured on film last summer by Erica's creative eye.  It is also the First Place prize-winning photo in the Nebraska Alfalfa Marketing Association's 2011 photo contest.  Way to go, Erica!

The Ultimate in Point-And-Shoot

Take a cheap disposable camera with no zoom and a tiny, curved viewfinder; hold it up to your snorkel mask, which keeps the viewfinder two inches away from your eye;  hope that you've actually put your subject in front of the lens. Click. And still come out with a photo like this. That's what's amazing about Hawaii.
